Portland, OR – Comics and graphic novel publisher ABLAZE is bringing the critically acclaimed sci-fi comic Traveling to Mars to Kickstarter! 

Brought to life by Eisner Award winning writer Mark Russell and rising star artist Roberto Meli, TRAVELING TO MARS tells the story of former pet store manager Roy Livingston, the first human to ever set foot on Mars. Roy was chosen for the unlikely mission for one simple reason: he is terminally ill and has no expectation of returning. Roy is joined on his mission by Leopold and Albert, two Mars rovers equipped with artificial intelligence, who look upon the dying man as a sort of God. FCBD24 Interview: Gannibal Meets The Shinning

League Of Geeks Review

superturbo @superturbo  This was great all around. The suspense kicks off shockingly fast, the backgrounds are beautifully illustrated, and I am hooked.

Melvin McBungles @Cole024  ‹Haven’t read a manga style book before but I saw this at a second shop I hit on FCBD and thought it looked interesting. Great black and white art, don’t read much Japanese stuff so it was a much different style than I’m used to, especially with having to adjust to reading from right to left. This was surprisingly jarring and quite intriguing as to what the rest of the story plays... 

ianwmcg @ianwmcg Creeping dread is everywhere in this book, I’ve not read much manga, but this was interesting.
