What They Say Gannibal, the thrilling and terrifying manga horror series by Masaaki Ninomiya, on which the Hulu TV show is based, is published in English for the first time!
After the mysterious disappearance of a countryside cop, the role is reassigned to Officer Daigo Agawa. He finds the remote village quaint, and he looks forward to an easygoing post among the warm and welcoming citizenry.
Then… He gets a call. The body of a local grandmother has been found.
The scene immediately sows doubt for the young policeman. A human bite mark has been left on the corpse, and any voiced suspicion of Agawa’s is met with a strange, sudden, and intense hostility.
Something dark is lurking under the idyllic façade of the charming mountain village. But can Officer Agawa spare himself and his family from it?

ABLAZE ANNOUNCES A KICKSTARTER CAMPAIGN FOR MARK RUSSELL’S TRAVELING TO MARS.
Portland, OR – Comics and graphic novel publisher ABLAZE is bringing the critically acclaimed sci-fi comic Traveling to Mars to Kickstarter!
Brought to life by Eisner Award winning writer Mark Russell and rising star artist Roberto Meli, TRAVELING TO MARS tells the story of former pet store manager Roy Livingston, the first human to ever set foot on Mars. Roy was chosen for the unlikely mission for one simple reason: he is terminally ill and has no expectation of returning. Roy is joined on his mission by Leopold and Albert, two Mars rovers equipped with artificial intelligence, who look upon the dying man as a sort of God. Against the backdrop of not only his own waning days but those of human civilization, Roy has ample time to think about where things went wrong for both and what it means to be a dying god. A riveting story of planetary exploration and of finding meaning in your final days.
The series has been widely acclaimed by both critics and readers and was nominated for two Eisner Awards in 2023: Best New Series, and Best Writer (Mark Russell).
The campaign rewards will include an Exclusive, Limited Hardcover Edition collecting the 11-issue series, with an introduction by writer, comedian, and actor Patton Oswalt, a cover gallery, and bonus behind-the-scenes material in a deluxe format. There will also be signed, sketch, digital, and softcover editions as well as other great reward tiers!

Masaaki Ninomiya: As long as you read it, I think you’ll find it interesting.
If you pick it up and continue to be interested, I don't have anything else to say. I hope you read it without any preconceptions.
